STS uses BIM (Building Information Modeling) to control construction work. The role of a construction manager is to ensure that the construction work follows the design and quality standards within the specified time and budget. However, past issues have arisen due to incomplete or insufficiently detailed construction drawings, or contractors lacking experience in interpreting the drawings, leading to errors and rework.

To address these challenges, STS utilizes BIM to control construction work. The process starts by converting architects' drawings, including various related work designs such as structures and systems, into a digital 3D model. This model is then used to identify errors and clashes that may occur, and feedback is provided to the relevant parties for corrections. This ensures the creation of a complete digital 3D model, facilitating easy and rapid error correction and reducing losses due to construction issues.

In this phase, the company can use the obtained data to plan and schedule construction activities. In cases where building designs are complex or projects have space constraints, the data is used to generate a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for quantity and cost checks. During the construction phase, the digital 3D model is employed to verify shop drawings collaboratively with contractors and other stakeholders, ensuring everyone has a consistent view of accurate and complete construction within the set timeframe and budget.

Upon completion of the construction, we compile as-built drawings in digital 3D model format for the project owner. This data can be used for ongoing building management. The BIM system demonstrates its versatility by applying data obtained in various stages, from design to construction management.
