The surveying project using a 3D Laser Scanner FARO X330 for an old building located at Ratchawithi Soi 24, Bangkok. The project's purpose is to collect data on the existing structures, survey the current state of the building for renovation. The building complex comprises various architectural styles and includes four buildings, with a total area of approximately 1,704 square meters.
In this survey, the 3D Laser Scanner FARO X330 was used to capture data both inside and outside the building, including walls, floors, beams, columns, stairs, etc. This data collection generated accurate 3D coordinate points (Point Clouds) with precise positioning and true-color imagery, representing the building's characteristics and various details. The results of the survey were used to create various drawings and models, including:
Plans Elevations Sections 3D Views (Perspective)
The data processing and drawing creation for this project were carried out using the REVIT software in both 3D model and 2D drawing formats, along with various file formats such as .DWG, .IFC, .RVT, .PDF, and others.
It's also noted that the Level of Development (LOD) for this project is specified at LOD200 and LOD300.
